The NY Times blog Baghdad Bureau has this piece about what it’s like to work as a photojournalist in Iraq. Part I was published January 1 with two additional parts to follow.
I was particularly interested in what Max Becherer had to say, if just because he’s the uncle of a friend of mine from school. I don’t like to miss a chance to give a nod to a fellow native of Bakersfield, California.
