For a campus Halloween party, I went as a flasher. My costume was a trench coat, two pairs of underwear, boots, and a Canon 580ex flash attached to my crotch.
I have good news about my journalism collective, Meridian.
After a lot of hard work I have finished revamping the Meridian Collective website, turning a blog into an online magazine for emerging journalists.

I had the pleasure of shooting among some of my favorite fishes at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps in La Jolla a couple weeks ago. The Ocean Discovery Institute (formerly Aquatic Adventures) hosted a gala and featured some talented kids informing guests on various environmental issues.
I couldn’t help but stare longingly at my computer screen this last weekend as the Eddie Adams Workshop folks posted update after tantalizing update from Barnstorm XXII in New York.

It’s been just over a month since I washed the last bits of Mongolian soil out of my pores with a long, hot shower in a hotel near the airport in Beijing (our connection was delayed). The absolutely official end to my journey came with a bite into my double cheeseburger from In N’ Out on the 60th night since leaving home.
