Horses tied to a hitching post wait to be ridden in Bakersfield, CA.

Here’s a shot from a couple years ago that I took while setting up shots of my family behind our backyard. I’ve always felt that horses’ personalities tend toward the attention-starved, and I think that comes across here — especially with the younger horse on the right.

I spent some time in my hometown of Bakersfield, California this week. Every time I visit my parent’s house there seem to be more horses, including but not limited to these three stooges.
