The San Diego Derby Dolls were at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California on November 8, 2008. The all-female roller derby league, founded in 2005, features serious competition among skaters with tongue-in-cheek names such as Anita Battle and Isabelle Ringer.
