Thelma Trout, 97, lives alone in a rented house on the Hocking River in Coolville, Ohio, where she broke her ankle several years ago and was stung by bees in her garden the summer of 2011. A son in Columbus, Ohio, and a nephew in West Virginia have both asked her to move in with them, but Trout refuses, citing her "oodles of friends."
