Ron DeHarte blows a whistle in front of the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel on February 15, 2009. A crowd of 150 gay rights activists protested Bill Clinton's speaking engagement at the hotel in downtown San Diego because of a boycott formed against the hotel after owner Doug Manchester donated $150,000 to the Yes on 8 campaign. Organizers of Saturday's event said that Bill Clinton was breaking the boycott by delivering a keynote address for the International Franchise Association.
